Tops

Let's start out with tops. More often than not, it is your selection in tops that will make people sit up and take notice of your fashion tastes. There are some fun spring trends in 2009 for the tease in all of us, which do you think would look best in your wardrobe?

The sheer look: Sexy is in this spring, but don't worry you inherent wallflowers, you don't have to expose any skin you want hidden. Sheer fabrics were definitely on the map this year when it came to the spring fashion shows, particularly when it came to tops. These pieces are suitable to all occasions, and fit nicely over any other piece of clothing you might want to use. And if you're looking for a quick way to transform from that job as a water treatment chemical supplier to being the vixen at that posh party at your neighbour's Toronto condo throw a sheer top on in the morning and lose it come quitting time! The right outfit can take you from your desk at the office to the Toronto patio set in your backyard.

Fringes: Last year was all about the frayed look, and this year the fringe is in. They work particularly well on that new spring jacket, but you will also see them on pants and shoes this season. Take a stroll through the Sutton members program office and you will notice that everyone seems to be embracing the fringe.

Jewellery: Tana from The Apprentice, rejoice. This year's jewel encrusted trend is a Godsend from the maker of the Bedazzler, half witted commercials aside. So, if you're thinking of getting cash for your gold jewellery, maybe you should think again. Buy tops with jewellery already sewn in, put it in yourself, or just wear a few extra layers of jewellery to design your own encrusted look. Word to the wise, butterflies are the most popular trend in jewellery design this spring. Jewellery catches the eye and makes people notice you. Be sure not to distract your colleagues when sharing dialogues concerning natural religion.

Loose: We've already taken note of the fact that the reveal is the sexy look this spring, with tighter tops pushed off to the side. Instead, designers are concentrating on a looser flow from shoulders to waist, as exemplified by Rebecca Taylor's collection. Again, note that the sexiness factor is added with the presence of sheer fabric. So not only can loose clothing be sexy it can also be comfortable and when looking all day at doors and windows Toronto you will appreciate the comfort factor.

Tunic tops! The thing that is really selling the tunic top this year is its versatility. These flowing tops go well with almost any bottom pairing, and they come in a wide variety of styles and colours as well. Best of all, the straps give you a chance to show off those shoulders and necks! So, if you're searching through Royal Lepage listings Mississauga or trying out that new Caribbean cafe down the street, throw on this latest style!

Even the most radical of clothing designers aren't going to make us forego traditionally workable designs when it comes to tops. It's the little touches that make those blouses, pullovers, and button down tops particularly appealing this season.
