just take a look at some of what we think are the major highlights in casual
wear for 2009. We will try to keep them as broadly applicable as possible, but
in a few cases we single out some very occasion specific trends.
Asymmetry: Straps on one shoulder are huge this year, and the style applies
to blouses, dresses, swimsuits, and everything in between. No more blocking
that beautiful shoulder line in any way; this trend is one that almost every

Fun colours: Bright colour combinations are in for all sorts of casual wear;

The boy look: The boy look is absolutely huge this year. We don't know what

are all a part of the boy casual look this year. But this look seems to be more

Sexy: Forget tight, just reveal. That seems to be a big trend this spring.
Bare midriffs are in, not just the peek we saw in seasons past. It's waist
to sternum this time around. If you're uncomfortable with that, the sheer
top is also in, and you can combine the two to feel less exposed.
